Oke, mungkin kutipan-kutipan diatas belum bisa memberi gambaran tentang ‘kecurigaan’ sejumlah vendor antivirus sehingga membuat mereka memutuskan bahwa PCMAV adalah virus (Trojan tepatnya). Namun kita bisa tarik sejarahnya ke belakang menyasar ke para pembuatnya…

Yang mungkin kebanyakan dikenal adalah Anton Reinhald Pardede dan satu lagi adalah Arief Prabowo. Hmm, paling menarik adalah sejarah tentang Anton Pardede! Dia yang juga Chief Editor PCMedia, PCMild dan Chief Antivirus Researcher PCMedia.

Kelamnya Anton dulu….

Anton termasuk orang lama dalam dunia IT Indonesia, mungkin tepatnya sejak 95 keatas. Berpendidikan hampir sarjana, lalu bekerja disejumlah perusahaan sekuriti dan penerbitan.

Kisah anton tentang kesarjanaannya lumayan menarik, kuliah malas-malasan dan ingin nilai tinggi, akhirnya mengambil jalan pintas, merubah nilai-nilai di Univ. Binus. Itulah sebab kenapa dia di DO (Drop Out) dengan tidak hormat. Dan mengejutkan lagi, tindakan mengubah-ubah nilainya (dari D menjadi A) itu dilakukan tidak dengan tangan halus, Kasar, a.k.a Lamer! Dia merusak jaringan puskom Binus berbekal password curian…. he3x

Kasus lain yang cukup heboh adalah menyebarnya virus Phardera pada sekitar tahun 1997-1999, yang merupakan virus Makro yang cukup merusak Microsoft Office pada waktu itu. Siapa yang membuatnya? Nicknamenya adalah Phardera, who is Phardera? He3x, ya si Anton Pardede! Kenapa? Lihat bukti kutipan berikut: (cari via google: Phardera Virus):

Kutipan diatas menggambarkan terdapat string pada Phardera.A, yang bertuliskan Anton R. Pardede dan Dianita SR, Jakarta, Batavia, Indonesia dll.

Mungkin anda yang kebetulan adalah pembuat virus, menganggap apa yang dilakukan anton adalah biasa saja. Tapi tunggu dulu bung! Anton a.k.a Phardera melakukannya waktu dia masih bekerja di PT Mikrodata bagian Antivirus dan kemudian dilanjutkannya di Elex Mediakomputindo, juga dibagian security antivirus!

Ironis buangeeetsss, apakah itu salah satu contoh dongeng bisnis kotor para vendor antivirus yang membuat virus yang menyebar luas supaya produk mereka laris. Dan memang terbukti antivirus yang (diklaim) dibuat oleh anton/phardera seperti CIH atau SVCIH laris dipasaran, Mikrodata kebanjiran order, Elex Media pun juga mendapat oplah lebih! Wah, parah ngga?

Sekarang kita tarik sejarah itu maju sedikit ke beberapa tahun kemudian, tepatnya akhir tahun 2005 awal 2006. Saat itulah PCMedia Antivirus (PCMAV) dirilis pertama kali pada Maret 2006. Menariknya beberapa bulan sebelumnya Indonesia dilanda epidemi virus Brontok ‘baru’ yang dibuat dengan C++ (bukan lagi VB, padahal yang tersebar sourcenya itu VB ? dan demam brontok ‘lawas’ sudah berakhir di awal 2006).

Mendadak, PCMAV muncul dan mengklaim “SATU-SATUNYA ANTIVIRUS DI DUNIA YANG MAMPU MEMBASMI BRONTOK DAN VARIANNYA SAMPAI KE AKAR-AKARNYA”. Kebetulan juga setelah dirilis oplah PCMedia naik tajam, popularitasnya pun semakin bertambah sampai sampai diwawancarai oleh (si sok) Roy Suryo! He3x

Ada banyak dugaan para praktisi sekuriti (entah benar atau tidak) yang mengatakan Brontok ‘baru’ tersebut dibuat oleh pihak PCMedia (khusus banget katanya sih si Phardera yang bikin). He3x, mungkin hanya kecemburuan bisnis kaliii, atau mungkin benar? Yaa, pada salah satu seminarnya (yang saya ikuti, yang saya tata kepanitiannya) Anton pernah berkata bahwa kantornya untuk pertama kali terserang Brontok! (hmmm, aneh)

Mungkinkah serangan brontok di kantor PCMedia adalah rekayasa semata dari Phardera untuk meyakinkan sidang redaksi menerima usulannya tentang antivirus? He3x, sangat tidak mungkin perusahaan besar seperti PinPoint Publications, PCMedia dan saudara-saudaranya bisa terkena brontok kalau tidak [ada] pihak [dalam] yang menyebarkan…

He3x, anggaplah dua paragraf diatas adalah tulisan konyol dan gosip banget, tapi yang berikut [dibawah] ini tidak konyol bung!

Kisah selanjutnya adalah PERTARUNGAN PHARDERA MELAWAN KECOAK. Singkat cerita, phardera masuk ke Kecoak.Or.Id, kemudian memasang muka memelas meminta diikutkan dalam proyek ezine kecoak dengan memberikan password dan akun di FTP kecoak, he3x bukannya mensukseskan proyek tersebut eh malah seluruh file dan folder pada direktori proyek ezine kecoak indonesia dihapus oleh Phardera. SO, tahu dunk akibatnya si phardera di keluarin dari Kecoak, dan diblacklist. Kutipan berikut diambil dari Kecoak.Or.id, yang disamping mengisahkan kronologis lamer phardera juga ke-lameran-nya dimilist kecoak, kekasarannya terhadap para ELITE Hacker Indonesia, dipecatnya dia [katanya secara tidak hormat] dari Mikrodata dan Elex Media, dan pengakuannya sebagai SUPER ELITE HACKER INDONESIA!

meski av ini bs di dl gratis, bukan berarti tanpa tujuan
di website aja iklannya lumayan banyak

perlu di ingat bahwa masyarakat Indonesia ini ada 250jt lebih

ga perlu dihitung semua, persentase yg menggunakan komputer anggap saja cuma 30jt
1% dari itu saja udah 3jt orang

dari 1% itu anggap aja 30.000 orang yg membeli majalah
dan dari 30rb itu. anggap saja 1000 orang yg mendownload
ya ujung2nya semuanya bukan diliat dari persentase, tp brp jumlah yg dipersentasekan

tp entah knp gw ngerasa virus lokal ini kampungan banget metodenya
ga canggih
modal autorun.inf dan script vb

soalnya kl yg begitu sebenernya mudah sekali diatasi, cuma semenjak era NT di home user
autorun yang selalu on dalam keadaan default membuat sulit proteksi, apabila tanpa proteksi sama sekali

terutama apabila komputer yg digunakan sering dipakai untuk berbagai device dan gadget

matiin autorun dan selalu pilih option show all hidden files, keliatan deh...
tanpa antivirus pun kl bs menangani ya ngga masalah

supaya bebas virus, daripada menggunakan antivirus (yang biaya lisensinya ga bs dibilang murah / biaya penangangan *maintance* , meskipun gratis)

mendingan beli OS Original dan gunakan SteadyState
ato software 3rd party kyk deepfreeze

metode seperti itu jauh lebih ampuh ketimbang antivirus

ya cuma opini

gw jg heran, br aja install os baru di hdd baru yang udah berkali2 di format
masih kena jg... entah virusnya muncul drmn...
