Warning buat Vista aspal! - 21-06-08, 08:29
Para pengguna sistem operasi Windows tentu sudah tidak asing lagi dengan istilah “Blue Screen of Darkness” atau “BSOD”. BSOD ini adalah suatu kesalahan yang terjadi pada sistem Windows berkaitan dengan kesalahan sistem. Namun, baru-baru ini sebuah istilah baru diperkenalkan oleh Windows sendiri yaitu “Black Screen of Darkness”.

“Black Screen of Darkness” ini bukan suatu kesalahan sistem Windows melainkan suatu feature di Vista yang dinamakan dengan “Reduced Functionality”. Feature ini ditujukan khusus bagi pengguna Windows Vista bajakan. Feature ini akan menonaktifkan semua copy bajakan dari Windows Vista sehingga penggunanya akan mengalami keadaan ini:
  • Layar hitam setelah satu jam melakukan browsing internet.
  • Hilangnya Start Menu dan Taskbar
  • Hilangnya Desktop
Selain itu, pengguna Vista bajakan juga akan kehilangan akses untuk feature-feature penting dan juga keterbatasan update sehingga sistemnya akan rentan terhadap virus, malware, dan spyware.

Feature ini merupakan salah satu upaya keras Microsoft untuk memerangi pembajakan terhadap perangkat lunaknya. Menurut promosi yang dilakukan oleh Microsoft, jika Vista tidak diaktivasi dengan produk key yang asli, maka pengguna akan mendapatkan pengurangan fungsi pada sistem Vista miliknya. Pembatasan pada produk key yang palsu merupakan suatu proses yang berkelanjutan. Untuk membantu melindungi hak-hak konsumen yang membeli Windows Vista asli dan juga untuk melawan pembajakan, Microsoft akan terus mem-blok product key yang disinyalir illegal.

kalo kasus gini, gara2 nginstal sp1 jamu yg tadinya udah manjur berhasil di taklukkan sp1 malah WPA nya jadi 15 hari, trus saya nyoba pake jamu laen yg punya kemampuan ngilangin khasiat jamu sebelumnya dan di ganti dgn khasiat dari jamu g bersangkutanbisa jd vista full lagi, tapi keesokan harinya setelah saya cek ga tau knp vista yg tadinya udah jd full di hari WPA 14, muncul lagi WPA nya dgn aktivasi tinggal 13 hari, tu apa yg salah ya?

ho5x the back screen of darkness

buta yang ga yakin ama vista pak tani, jangan simpan data penting di partisi yang sama dengan OS.

karena kalo udah habis masa trial or jamu gagal, ntar ga bisa masuk desktop, diminta aktivasi sebelum login
ga bisa pindah2 file loh

anyway, BSoD hanya terjadi setelah 1 jam online kalo terdeteksi vista kamu 'bermasalah'
kalo ga online ga ada masalah.
