Installasi aneh windows XP. - 29-09-07, 06:01
Installasi aneh windows XP.

Semalem tadi windows gw tiba tiba mati, NTLDR is missing. alamat install ulang deh.
Seperti biasa, setelah nyiapin CD CD, gw berniat install ulang windows ke salah satu drive gw. Kali ini tujuan gw adalah drive SATA gw.

Drive SATA bisa dikenali dengan baik dan bisa di installi OS melalui bootdisk XP. Tapi setelah di restart, yang gw temukan bukan lah layar installasi windows XP melainkan tulisan seperti ini

LOL ini RAID ya ? setting RAID gw off.

OK. Sesuatu pasti telah terjadi karena sebelumnya WinXP pernah mampir ke SATA gw dan ga ada masalah. Semua kabel IDE gw cabut, power untuk IDE juga gw cabut, sehingga yang masih ada jelas cuma drive SATA nya doang. Kembali.. Di BIOS ga ada masalah. Install WinXP melalui bootdisk juga tidak bermasalah. Begitu di restart untuk meneruskan installasi.. wew. Hal yang sama terulang kembali. Gw udah ngulangin ini sampe kurang lebih 10 kali dan akhirnya menyerah. Sesuatu terjadi sehingga SATA gw ga bisa dipake buat install XP. Padahal XP sebelumnya di install di SATA ini.

Sekarang, drive gw sisa 2. 2 IDE, Seagate sebagai Primary Master. Dan Maxtor sebagai Primary Slave. Karena Seagate adalah alasan gw membeli drive SATA nya ( seagatenya udah ndut endut an, kadang mau booting kadang kagak. Kadang kedetek di bios, kadang kagak. ) maka jelas installasi windows ga bakal gw taro di Seagate IDE nya. Jadi konekin Maxtor ke kabel PATA, cabut SATA drive, sehingga sisa Maxtor dan DVD Benq gw. Install WinXP sudah bisa berjalan dengan baik lagi. Restart, ubah HDD boot priority ke Maxtor di Bios. Save. Restart.

4 detik kemudian

loh kok! LOL.
Sekali lagi, setting RAID gw, off. Dan FGS, ga ada satupun SATA yang konek
Begitu juga dengan setting networking dan lain sebagainya.

Gw coba 5x pake Maxtor, begitu terus dan... ya sudah. Capek gw. Akhirnya komputer gw matiin. Pasang pasang IDE dan SATA lagi ketempat semula.

Akhirnya timbul juga keinginan buat nginstall XP lagi di Seagate PATA yang sudah error itu karena dulunya bisa berjalan dengan baik. Komputer gw nyalain lagi. Set set HDD Primary option di BIOS dan restart. Tapi karena sempat kesel banget, CD installasi windows udah ga ada entah kemana. Mungkin kelempar waktu kesel. FYI, Seagate PATA ini kosong. Ga ada Installasi Windows di dalamnya. Sempat ada Vistanya tapi gw hapus karena rese.

Dan tiba tiba sesuatu terjadi secara magis !!

Seagate PATA gw ini mau booting masuk ke windows. Bukan sembarang windows. Tapi installasi Windows yang ada di Maxtor!! WTF????
Karena curious ( bukan khurios ) gw bongkar lagi, copot Seagate PATA dan hanya menggunakan Maxtor PATA sebagai media install. Lagi lagi..

weks. Ya udah, berarti Seagate PATA gw pasang, dan gw install WinXP di Maxtor melalui MBR Seagate. Installasi berjalan dengan sukses, semua program yang bisa di install juga sudah sukses. Syukurlah. Nah yang tiba tiba menjadi pertanyaan gw.. Bagaimana jika Seagate ini pada akhirnya jadi mati ? Karena emang seagate ini sendiri udah endut2an ngangkat windows sebelumnya. Gw takut kalo seagate ini mati, installasi XP di Maxtor jadi ga guna karena ga bisa dikenali oleh Nvidia Boot Agent. Gimana cara memperbaikinya ya ? Apa gw punya MBR yang corrupt ? Sudah gw coba fixboot di recovery console tapi tetep aja ada pesan kesalahan seperti diatas.



Sebagai info.
Disk 0 = Seagate PATA yang udah hampir mati.
Disk 1 = Maxtor.
Disk 2 = Seagate SATA.
System di Seagate, sementara Windowsnya ada di Maxtor. Padahal setau gw yang ada windowsnya itu yang ditunjuk sebagai system ya ? Sekali lagi, di seagate PATA udah nggak ada system file apapun. Cuma junk dan film2 yang kalo hilang gw ga kecewa

Gw pake motherboard N-Force 4 biasa. Bukan ultra atau SLI. Dan waktu installasi kemarin, SATA gw masih dikenali dengan baik. Sekarang udah ga bisa dijadiin boot devices lagi.

gw pernah kejadian mirip gini, semua hdd sata gw ga kebaca gara2 batre mobo gw kegoyang trus setelan sata di bios dengan sendirinya berubah ke disabled

soal batre bios,, gw aja pake batre bios udah bocor abisssss....

efeknya cuma bios reset sendiri+kompi baru bisa start klo udah di nyalain sebentar 'n di teken tombol reset.

bisa jadi bener kata NickPalingCool, coba ganti kabel & bersihin dulu ajah cpunya
