gw biasa pake cakewalk sonar 3 kalo buat rekaman band gw. soalnya semenjak SMP pakenya cakewalk mulu sih... jadi dah biasa.
biasa dipake buat:
-take vokal
-manipulasi vokal
-editing vokal
-ngasi efek
-ada vst plugins-nya juga(buat efek atau software synthesizers)
-bisa juga edit video

tapi... kalo lo mau convert audio, software ini mah harus download plugins/software tambahan baru bisa. kalo gw sih pake software laen buat convert: coolsoft power mp3 wma converter.
tapi kalo khusus buat convert sih masi banyak yang laennya yang lebih bagus.

kalo lo mau belajar audio editing atau recording bisa paketerurut dari atas yg gw rekomendasiin)
-ableton live 4(super friendly, dan interface paling bagus)
-adobe audition (gampang dipake juga, dulunya pake nama cool edit pro)
-steinberg wavelab(khusus buat mastering dan editing sound)
-steinberg cubase sx(sodaranya wavelab, buat recording)
-acid
-n-track
-dll.....

kalo untuk penggunaan kasual, mending pake yg freeware aja kaya audacity. gw ga rekomen pake software bajakan lohh...
tapi kalo untuk professional, pake yg gw sebutin.
