Barusan ngetest pake ReadyBoost - 24-05-07, 15:07
Barusan gw ngetest2 Readyboost, pake Flashdisk gw, Nexus 1GB High-Speed. Tadinya gw pikir ga bisa, eh ternyata malah ok. Mari kita lihat hasilnya pada beberapa test dibawah.


Test System :
Athlon 3000+ @2421MHz
DFI NF4 INFINITY
2x 512MB DDR
GeForce 7900GS driver 158.24
Windows Vista
1GB Nexus High-Speed.

run test pertama, nggak tau gw gimana cara benchnya yang bener, ga punya programmnya, so gw coba dulu, restart PC dan mulai dari awal, setelah 10 menit idle ( HDD ga jalan lagi ). Test program2, dengan cara... dijalanin secara manual dan dihitung waktu start nya


Kemudian test kedua, gw aktifin ready boost, terus gw restart lagi, tunggu idle lagi 10menit, baru gw jalanin lagi test2 nya. Begini hasilnya :





Untuk sandra, gw cuma hitung waktu kelar nya aja sih. Mustinya dengan Readyboost ini sedikit banyak juga ngefek. Tapi ga tau juga. Yang jelas, program bawaan Microsoft bener bener jadi wuzz banget. Gw buka Windows Calendar, Windows Movie Maker apalagi, gw belum sempat pencet stopwatch udah kebuka dengan lengkap gokil...

Anomali paling parah terjadi di test load 50 images di Photoshop. Jumlah total ukuran images yang dibuka sendiri sampai 46MB. Sementara yang 20 images, ukuran total file nya sampai 28MB. Sori gw ga punya gambar yang super high resolution. File file yang dipake itu aja file test jpg, PNG, dan BMP yang gw besarin ukuran file nya dengan paksa

Yang parah banget, keliatan di mata, itu 3Dmark 03, dia kok tiba tiba stuttering ga jelas gitu kalo pake Readyboost. Mungkin dia belum support kali. Dan sori, gw cuman ada ini doang. Soalnya installer nya dah pada ilang keformat kemarin. Ntar kalo bisa nemu di tumpukan cd cd installer, gw update deh Semoga


Dengan hasil diatas, apa ini berarti readyboost masih cuma jadi impian ? Atau ini USB Stick nya yang cupu ? Ada yang mau nyoba ngetest ? Flashdisk gw cuman 1 doang nih ^^;

Tadi juga mau pake Removable Drive, tapi ternyata ga disupport. Ketahuan kali bukan flashdisk ya ^^ Padahal HDD notebook khan flash juga. Bukan begitu ?

hm..
mustinya sih tetep ngefek ya ? soalnya tetap aja sih sebagian memori di pindah kesana dulu.. dan.. rasanya readyboost bisa buat aplikasi berat deh.. soalnya dari pihak m$ sendiri yang janjiin kalo pake ReadyBoost bisa lebih gegas di aplikasi berat macam video encoding. Cmiiw sih.
