Komputer Dilanda Virus SARA dan Cinta - 30-11-06, 00:00
Jakarta, Tidak hanya berdampak pada kehidupan sosial, sentimen Suku Agama Ras dan Antargolongan (SARA) juga melanda dunia komputer. Begitu juga urusan cinta. Hmmm...

Urusan SARA dan cinta turut menjadi motivasi para pembuat virus. Setidaknya, demikian yang terjadi di Indonesia, seperti yang dipantau perusahaan antivirus PT Vaksincom. Hasilnya, Vaksincom menghitung ada 1.000 varian virus lokal yang beredar dalam periode April - Oktober 2006. Bukan angka yang kecil kan?

Dari angka tersebut, 347 diantaranya adalah varian virus Rontokbro. Virus ini terdeteksi sejam Oktober 2005, dan diduga berasal dari Bandung, Jawa Barat. Sempat menyebar sampai di beberapa negara Asia, masa jayanya mulai meredup sejak Agustus 2006.

Seakan-akan tak mau kalah, pembuat virus lain juga memunculkan identitas kedaerahan dalam karyanya. Alfons Tanujaya, Spesialis antivirus PT Vaksincom menilai, pembuat Rontokbro sepertinya menyebarkan kode sumbernya, sehingga muncul varian yang memunculkan ciri kedaerahan lainnya.

"Varian terakhir Rontokbro menyertakan ciri Ambon Manise," ujar Alfons, saat berbicara di Seminar Antivirus, di Mercantile Club, Jakarta, Rabu (29/11/2006).

Selain Rontokbro, ada juga virus-virus lokal dengan ciri kedaerahan lain seperti virus Kangen dari Palembang, virus Riyani Jangkaru dari Makassar dan virus Artika Sari Devi (FaceCool) dari Bangka.

Urusan cinta dan patah hati juga bisa memotivasi pembuat virus dalam berkarya. Contohnya adalah virus Hatipat. Aksinya beragam dari sekedar menampilkan pesan patah hati, sampai mencoba menghancurkan data komputer korban.

Alfons berpendapat, pembuat virus biasanya ada di usia-usia muda. Usia-usia SMA sampai kuliah disebut-sebut sebagai 'Golden Age' pembuat virus. "Secara fisik mereka masih kuat, punya rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi, belum dewasa dan butuh pengakuan," papar Alfons. (nks/oyd)

virus lokal memang banyak skarang ni, ada variant rontokbro, flu burung, grogotix dll, tetapi AV lokal juga semakin berkembang mis : PCMAC, Ansav32, SmadaAV dll.. Hehehe
Yang penting update terus AV anda n berjaga2lah..
