perasaan hoax deh berita itu, mainstream support windows XP kan masih sampe 2009 trus setelah habis dilanjutin dengan extended support sampe 2014.
meski ini juga sudah cukup langka karena berbeda ama lifecycle produk mikocok laen yang pada umumnya support hingga 10 tahun (5 tahun pertama mainstream support dan 5 tahun selanjutnya extended support)

klo mang benar begithu, trus kapan donk keluarnya windows 7!? masa microsoft mau support mpe 3 OS bersamaan nantinya...2014 terlalu lama buat Xp.

Wong win 98, 2000, ME..smua dah diskontiniu tuh, ga nunggu mpe 10 tahun.

yang nyebabkan Xp sekarang masi bertahan itu di karenakan user basednya masi besar dan blom mau berbondong2 hijrah ke vista (yang menuntuk spesifikasi lebih tinggi) , jadi mereka ga berani cepet2 matiinnya...tapi lama2 juga bakal dipindah tuh.

Soal support layanan sie mungkin ajha lebih lama

jadi kesimpulannya....mungkin

@odhiex... win 98/me persaan 2006 kan baru benar2 diputus support-nya
windows 7 kan plan awal kalo ga salah sekitar 2009 keluar (lenkapnay ga tau, kalo molor lagi)
dan kenapa tidak support 3 OS ????
mikocok saat ini kan support banyak sekali OS
XP, win server 2003, winserver 2008, vista yang masing2 punya berbagai varian yang berbeda.

btw, mainstream support tuh maksudnay support penuh, update2, layanan2/service, dan laen2, sedangkan extended suppor tuh mikocok lebih pasif, cuman ada update2 kritikal aja. kalo ada touble user bisa menghubungi mikocok (bayar tapi kalo pas extendd support tuh)
