Driver Nvidia sebabkan 29% kasus crash di Vista - 29-03-08, 10:50


Ars Technica melaporkan bahwa driver Nvidia bertanggung jawab atas 29 % kasus crash di Windows Vista. Laporan tersebut berdasarkan dokumen internal e-mail di lingkungan Microsoft (PDF setebal 158 halaman) yang dibuka untuk umum atas perintah pengadilan. Data tentang daftar bug dapat dilihat di halaman 47.

Selain itu driver ATI, Intel dan Microsoft sendiri juga masing-masing berkontribusi atas kasus crash di Vista yang totalnya berjumlah 1.663.748 kasus.

Kasus Windows Vista yang buggy ini merupakan kelanjutan dari kasus tuntutan class-action terhadap Microsoft atas penjualan hardware & software komputer yang berlogo :



Logo tersebut telah disebarluaskan bagi hardware & software komputer yang berbasis Windows XP pada tahun 2006 sebelum Vista dirilis. Namun kenyataannya setelah Vista dirilis, sebagian besar dari produk yang ditempel logo tersebut tidak mampu menjalankan Windows Vista dengan baik dan kasus yang sekarang muncil salah satunya adalah ketidakstabilan sistem yang mengganggu pengguna.

Untung ane gak pake nvidia Tp bener bgt, setelah gw coba vista, jd turun skor 3dmark06nya. Kirain 3850 kan dirancang buat dx10-nya vista, eh ternyata di vista malah bikin lemot aje.

Katanya SP 1 udah nyuss buat game.. Malah gw baca di forum luar negeri tu ada yang bisa gain + 29 fps utk game WiC dan 40an fps utk Crysis @ low setting.. hmm..ada yang udah coba SP 1 kah..?

apakah ini ada hubungannya ama test kestabilan Overclokinf prosie ga ya...
masalahnya di os XP lebih gampang cari stability dibanding Vista ...
kalo iya berati emang Vistanya yang dudul, kalo dikaitkan dengan Ati 9.3% crashing on Vista...
Vista SP 1 dah banyak kok bro, tapi cuman RC 1 di rent .. itupun ada watermark nya ..

wa, aq kq g da masalah ma nvidia ku. Malah adem ayem aja nich. No problem banget. Malah, komp ku makin topcer aje ketimbang make xp.

Klo kawanku aq yang labtopnya musti vista, yang kt orang sononya memang bawaan vista. Aq malah bingung setelah baca ini. kq jd g jelas gitu vista. atw jgn2 aq korban selanjutnya ya???
