Putus-putus kalau terjun ke smoke-nya ...jelaslah make AA16x AF16x resolusi 1920x1200 ...sudah bagus masih sangat playable dengan setting segitu...perkiraan frame-rate sekitar 20-40 FPS.

Yap, mirip Blitzkrieg...sistem reinforcement. Simpelnya, pas perang kita dikasih point reinforcement lalu terserah makenya gimana ala Blitzkrieg. Tapi ada bedanya, setiap unit yang mati, maka "nilai reinforcement"-nya pelan-pelan akan kembali ke "reinforcement pool". Jadi misalnya point kita 1000 ada tank pointnya 600, kita beli maka point kita tinggal 400. Tank kita pake lalu mati, maka point kita pelan-pelan akan nambak kembali ke 1000 . Cukup revolutioner bukan? ...;

Di multiplayernya kerasa banget kita hanya sebagai "pemain kecil" yang "tidak berarti", karena bisa 16 vs 16 di demonya.

Yap yap, gwe juga baru tau barusan, ternyata pilihan AA dan AF nyempil di bawah . Pilihannya cuman 2x, 4x, dan 16x...hemm ...default 4x. Pantesan rasanya kok aneh enteng banget AA16x...^^;;;

Paling males kalau nggak bisa force di driver ^^;;

Anyway, gwe dah cek di DX9...nyaris tak berbeda . Bedanya ternyata cuman di Lighting-nya . Tapi beda Lighting doang bisa membuat gamenya seperti "ada yang kurang tapi apa ya?" ...

Nope , khusus di WiC...yang kerasa sih sinar matahari dari langit...yang DX9 minim sinar matahari yang nyempil di antara awan ...coba liat sendiri screenshot di bawah...itu gwe ambil di leptup G1 gwe...Go7700 resolusi 1280x800 AF:4X AA:none Shadow:Off, lainnya penuh dan nyala.











Coba bandingkan Screenshot pertama di atas dengan yang WiC-17.JPG, kerasa banget lho bedanya. Itu baru di screenshot, apalagi kalau ngeliat sendiri pas main . Kerasa banget "depth"-nya. Gwe mo cek lagi besok di 8800GTX tapi make path DX9, karena ternyata ada di opsi di dalam gamenya (ngasih opsi "Advanced Graphic" kok nggak langsung keliatan di mata ).

Hemm...jadi pengen...ada yang mo G1 gwe nggak?? ...

*ehem*...setelah main multiplayernya selama beberapa jam...*haduh*...kayaknya gwe bakalan kecanduan lagi nih main multi ...must buy game ...

Well, sistem multiplayernya "open" yang berarti kita bisa masuk ke server walaupun gamenya sudah mulai . Setelah itu kita milih negara, baru milih "spesialis"...mirip Generals-generals di C&C :Generals...atau faksi di CoH.



Setiap "spesialis", walaupun ada beberapa alat yang bisa dibeli, tetapi setelah main cukup lama bisa dikatakan hanya mempunyai 2 "jalan" untuk membeli alat-alat yang harus dilalui kalau mau sukses. Misalnya, untuk USA bagian Air bisa milih mo beli heli khusus Air Superiority atau untuk serang darat saja, dan tentu saja bisa beli dua-duanya.

Ketentuan di atas tidak menjadi aturan pasti, hanya semacam guide line saja, karena ada alat yang lain seperti heli transport. Bahkan kita bisa beli juga beberapa alat yang bukan terbang, misalnya prajurit. Hanya saja, harganya lebih mahal beberapa point dibandingkan kalau milih "spesalis prajurit" misalnya.

Bahkan guide line di atas bisa dibilang hanya untuk main tahap awal saja, karena dengan jalannya perperangan bukan tidak mungkin membutuhkan kedua heli tersebut.

Nah, uniknya mulai di sini. Selama main, kita bisa pindah-pindah "spesialis" sesuka kita...feature multiplayer yang original untuk game RTS. Dengan begini, maka jalannya perperangan relatif tidak bisa ditebak karena setiap orang bisa pindah-pindah sesuai dengan jalannya perperangan.

Dan yang tidak disangka, ternyata game ini membutuhkan teamwork , much much more needed than Company of Heroes's multiplayer. Setiap alat mempunyai kelemahannya masing-masing, sehingga teamwork yang ketat dibutuhkan setiap saat...bahkan sudah dimulai sejak pemilihan "spesialis".

Nah, sayangnya...seperti biasa...sangat jarang teamwork mau dilakukan oleh setiap orang. Selama gwe main, gwe hanya menemukan 1 pertandingan dimana teamwork-nya bagus, selain itu sih teamwork jadi2-an alias tebak2-an ini orang mau kemana sih ...;

Aneh juga, karena di game ini disediakan "Quick Request" tombol Q seperti di Battlefield 2, format menunya sangat mirip dengan di Battlefield 2 . Kenyataannya, banyak orang tidak memanfaatkan feature ini, yang berarti entah dia Newbie atau emang nggak mau kerja sama.




Sayangnya juga, orang-orang cenderung hanya memilih "spesialis" kesukaannya, entah kenapa...sepertinya hanya mau mengejar point...karena gamenya diranked ala Battlefield 2 dan 2142. Ada beberapa pertempuran yang salah satu "spesialis"-nya 0 alias tidak ada yang milih. Ini jelas merugikan team, karena setiap "spesialis" bertanggung jawab untuk menutupi kekurangan "spesialis" yang lain.

Nah, bagaimana dengan performance-nya? Dengan hanya memakai 12 Pixel Shader dan 5 Vertex Shader di Go 7700, gamenya di multiplayer IMO sangat playable , dengan opsi semua Full AF4x minus Shadow dan AA. Memang tidak mulus karena jarang melebihi 30 FPS, tetapi juga jarang sampai kayak slide show (kecuali terjun ke asap atau pas nuklir meledak), FPS-nya cukup stabil ...

Browser-nya gwe juga suka, sangat ringan dan user friendly ...

gwe kecewa dengan unitnya, basically sama antara russia dengan USA.

nggak seperti general yang tiap faction taktik yang dipake bisa "unik"

tapi gwe baru coba main satu ronde doang sih....
