    Wink Patch SC double agent buat SM 2.0

    Hi guyzz ada yang tau gak, patch utk maen double agent tapi vga gue X800pro (SM 2.0). Ini game belagu amat ya masak harus SM 3.0.

    Oh ya sekalian nanya, gue beli gothic 3 uda nginstall, kok harus DL update lagi ya kira2 56MB booo... gede bgt. Apa emang begitu??

    Gak ada patch SM2.0_nya bro RHA. Ini game di_desaign di XBox360 yg make' SM3.0 Xenos_nya ATI. Jadi waktu convert ke PC yg "langsung" gak ada re-develop lg. No SM2.0 even fallback ke SM1.1. Ya itu keputusan UBI, yang tentunya udah dipertimbangkan masak-masak. Berikut kutipan feedback user/gamer ke Ubisoft :
    I asked the devs for a statement about the shader model issue and they explained the situation.
    Ubisoft :
    Medium to high-range PC owners are used to geting way better looking games vs. console versions. Previously this was because PC games were boosted PS2/XBOX ports.

    That era is over and PC games are now ports of X360 versions and can’t look as good as them because the difference in hardware is huge.

    However PC users should not throw themselves out the window yet, as usual with every console cycle, PC will gain back their technological advantage. It’s just a question of time.

    Back to SCDA PC, the job of the team consisted in two main goals:

    1 - Be as close as possible to the X360 version on high end configurations. The end result is that the PC game is identical in content to the 360. No cut scenes, missions or gameplay elements have been cut from the version. Running on a high end PC the two game versions are VERY similar. Keep in mind that the 360 has 3 CPU's at 3.2Ghz and that the PC game runs on 1 CPU at 3Ghz.

    2 - Bring the minimum specs as low as possible without losing too much of the X360 game experience = result is we could achieve the attached min specs. If you compare those specs to X360 specs, you can understand the work that was accomplished. There’s been lots of questions about the SM 3.0 only support, well the answer is no, we could not have supported those cards without altering the X360 game experience. We wish we could have though, but no. And no, there will be no patch to enable this, because it’s about redoing all the shaders of the whole game…

    Tp di Chaos Theory ada patch ke SM2.0 kok bro. Karena SCCT develops masih SM1.1.
    SM3.0 u/ HDR dan Parallax Maping, yg ternyata jg bisa enable make' SM2.0. jadi waktu itu ... gak tahu! Marketing SM3.0 kali (waktu itu kan awal2 GF6x00 muncul, NV nyogok Ubi u/ force SM3.0 ato balek SM1.1 aja... padahal SM2.0 jg bisa support all feature,... *yah.. waktu itu* )
    Info Chaos Theory patch SM2.0 enable

    Nah... klo SC Double Agent, ... beda
    Kata Ubi, develop base make Xenos ATI (X360), jadi, ya SM3.0. Jadi bukan masalah dulu dekat ke NV sekarang dekat ke ATI. Dan console X360 kan emang make SM3.0. Bagi Ubi mungkin gak masalah, mengingat para PC gamer (bukan di Indo) udah pd make ATI X1xx0 dan GF7x00 (GF6x00 kan jg dah bs SM3.0)

    btw ikut petisi aja, request rame2 u/ SM2.0, kali2 ntar diwujudkan Ubi team.
