OC Q9450 di Asus P5Q Pro - 25-08-08, 11:14
Ya jd gw bru pnya procie C2Q Q9450 n ASus P5Q Pro,,,
Gw OC itu CPU dpt stabil di 3.7 G @ 1.35 volt

gw pngen nyoba ampe 4G tp mentok di max CPU voltage Q9450 di 1,3625V...
Trus gw buka2 arsip thread GX gw,, ktemu thread OC xeon 3110 si becco...
di situ dia main2 dng Vtt n GTL...nah masalahnya di bios gw tuh ga ada settingan itu...

Di bios gw cma ada settingan CPU voltage, FSB termination voltage, CPU PLL...
ada saran ga gmn klo mw OC dng setting2 itu?

^ yup, klo 1.1V untuk procie 45nm berarti itu adalah VTT bro
klo cpu 65nm biasanya default vtt/fsb termination 1.2V

itu VTT kamu kali ke GTL
VTT x GTL = REFERENCE default ya
mereka saling berhubungan

sekarang pasti 1.1V untuk VTT dan 67% atau 0.67 untuk GTL
reference untuk procie 45nm = 1.1 x 0.67 = 0.737V
nah, main2 aja, ya klo bisa mentok di 0.8V aja untuk VTT x GTL
misal klo anda mau set VTT ke 1.3V .... seyogyanya GTL anda turunkan ke (misal) 61%

CPU PLL mending tetep aja bro...
VTT kalo terpaksa dinaikin, jangan tinggi2 deh.. 1.2-1.3v ajah.. (keknya dah cukup tinggi juga.. Biostar TPower I45 kemarin bench di 600x7.5, vtt pake 1.4v sudah cukup..)
GTL ref diturunin... kaya illustrasi becco..
memori cobain run di 1:1 dulu timing loose..
vchipset / vmch dinaikin aja bro.. coba +0.1-0.2
