Speedstep question - 21-11-06, 20:02
If I have an E6300 with a mild OC at stock voltage and I enable Speedstep in the BIOS, under full load (FAH, Prime95, etc) my system will still run at the overclocked rate, right? What about voltages? If I boost voltage to increase OC and enable Speedstep I'll still be at my full voltage and speed under full load, right?

I prefer to leave my PC on 24/7 and don't need the heat/wear and tear/electricity bill of an OC'd processor sitting idle at 3.2Ghz.

Speedstep, as well as Cool and Quiet in AMD are not recommeded for overclocking because they will interferee with your BIOS settings

Kalo SpeedStep aktif, kontrol CPU nggak berada sepenuhnya di tangan lo. Karena dia punya AI, maka jika terjadi kondisi yang dianggap tidak memerlukan clock tinggi, dia bakal turunin speed nya biar "optimal".

Emang ga ada masalah karena lo nggak kerasa / nggak tau itu terjadi.

makanya jadi enak kan bisa ngurangin daya kalo CPU di OC ama ngurangin panas

Kalo gitu ga usah di OC sejak awalnya aja. Toh udah ada SpeedStep nya Khan kalo butuh tenaga dia menyesuaikan sendiri Jadi apa fungsinya OC ?

Bisa ga teknologi itu naikin clock speed lebih tinggi dari dari yang tertera ( OC ) ? Bisa ga Nap ?
