Q nih ya ... aku punya mem dengan default voltase atau katakanlah voltase yang disarankan adalah (tertulis) 2.2V
apa itu gak papa klo aku jalan harian 2.2V tanpa tambahan active cooling?

kalo namanya di OC mah gak ada yang aman, untuk menanggulanginya atau meminimalisir kemungkinan rusak yah barang tersebut harus dingin/ dalam keadaan suhu yang wajar.

edited: masalahnya suhu si barang tersebut gimana? wajar gak? maklum suhu udara indonesia tau sendiri seperti apa kan

me: menurut saya, kalo itu memori tidak menunjukkan tanda2 kepanasan, well, let's say, kalo dipegang heatspreadernya ga kepanasan / atau hanya hangat2 kuku (saya asumsikan, memori yang minta default voltage udah 2.2v mestinya pake heatspreader yah.. , kalo yang tanpa hs mestinya working voltage nya dibawah itu), ya gapapalah tanpa active cooling, kan budget yang sejatinya mau dipake pak Becco untuk beli active cooling bisa buat traktir saya makan atau buat tambahan belanja istri. Tapi kalo hs nya udah terasa menyengat, ya better kasih active cooling.
Tapi kalo buat saya sih, lebih baik selalu pake active cooling..

Kingston hyperX PC9600 yang baru enggak make GKX lagi
terutama klo ada tulisan made in China
memang rate nya PC9600 / 1200MHz 5-5-5-15 voltage 2.3V
tapi enggak bisa ke freq itu ... hmm

After the first kit only reached a Prime 95 v25.5 ‘Blend’ stable speed of 1124 MHz, I spoke to members of Kingston’s R&D department on a couple of occasions in order to try and extract the 1200 MHz rated speed from the kit. Unfortunately, they have been unable to help me do this, despite the assurance that the kit has been tested on an Asus P5K of their own and passed their tests. They have been unable to advise me of the specific BIOS version they used for their testing and have also not been able to supply me with the exact BIOS configuration that they used despite my requests for this. Believing the first kit to be faulty, Kingston sent another. The second kit unfortunately performed marginally better at 1128 Mhz

nambah info, untuk Ballistix yang versi "baru" dengan sticker serial number: 8FE5 (4 huruf/angka terakhir) adalah Ballistix single side
IC cuma di satu sisi, enggak di kedua sisi seperti seri2 Ballistix lama dengan SN: 16FD3
walhasil overclock Ballistix versi baru (single side) enggak seheboh yang double side
keliatan sekarang Crucial udah mulai cari profit
well .... normal sih buat sebuah company

yang 16FD3 harganya mungkin tinggi
tapi yang 8FE5 harga DDR2-1066 bisa cuma 1jt-an, ato kurang
btw, review/overclocking Ballistix yang single side ada di sini

ciri Ballistix lama (double side) -> ada clip di headspreader
klo yang single side, tanpa clip

ada yang jual Kingston HyperX DDR1200 yang aku maksud di atas
posisi masih di angka 800rb klo gak salah

cukup layak untuk dimiliki buat yang lagi incer memory baru
