Baru-baru ini PC Games merilis sebuah video yang memperlihatkan kemampuan dari teknologi CryEngine 3 yang sedang dikembangkan oleh CryTek. Teknologi yang telah tampil mengesankan bagi game-game seperti Crysis, Warhead dan Far Cry tersebut akan dikembangkan bagi semua platform next-gen yang ada saat ini.

Dan sedikit berbeda dengan game-game yang disebutkan diatas, dalam video yang memperlihatkan gameplay dari sebuah MMORPG berjudul Forged By Chaos itu, tidak ada "jungles", yang sepertinya menjadi ciri khas keindahan game yang didukung dengan CryEngine. Dalam video berdurasi sekitar 5 menit tersebut, tampak grafis yang ditawarkan cukup indah, dengan dukungan penuh terhadap DirecX10, namun dilihat dari video tersebut, tampaknya game ini masih sedikit mengalami lag, serta memerlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam gameplaynya.
