Project Offset, titel game exclusive pertama di platform Larabee - 09-09-08, 07:33

Intel telah mengumumkan pengembangan platform chip graphis terbarunya dengan code nama Larabee yang konon digadang gadang menjadi pesaing serius di PC Gaming. Diberitakan pula sebuah project game yang masih bernama Project Offset, menjadi game petama yang akan menemani saat peluncuran perdananya nanti.


Pengembangan project dipercayakan kepada Offset Software dengan technology engine mereka yang dikatakan akan menunjukkan kemampuan dari dari Larabee itu sendiri.

Masih belum ada tanda2 screeshot in game saat ini, yang ada malah concept art yang belum bisa menjelaskan apa-apa. Namun keberadaan tentang gameplay project Offset tercium setelah keluarnya leaked video pada july 2007 lalu.

Project Ofset gak akan langsung loncat ke Ray Traced
wa lihat masih rasterisation
dan keknya klo gak rasterisation, gak bakalan laku mengingat ATI dan Nvidia masih enggan ke ray traced
dan juga si Microsoft, pemain utama, masih enggan ke ray trace di DX11 nanti

toh ini Project Ofset adalah "proyek" lama, bro Napoleonic pernah mengupasnya, beberapa tahun yang lalu

Oh, jadi pembuatan gamenya udah dari agak lama ya. Kirain
Tapi kayaknya menarik kalo mereka masukin unsur-unsur ray tracing disini sebagai persiapan nantinya.

Yup wa setuju ma mas becco. Intel boleh aja merajai pasar processor, tapi buat teknologi 3D harus minta dulu dukungan ama Microsoft, ATi n NVidia.
