Gears of Wars 2 adalah salah satu titel shooter exclusive buat konsol X360 yang sangat dinanti2 bakal segera keluar tahun ini. Tidak seperti seri pertamanya yang juga keluar buat platform Windows, seri keduanya ini dikatakan tidak akan di port kembali ke PC (setidaknya sampai dalam waktu dekat ini).

Cliff Bleszinski, sang producer seri ini menyatakan dalam sebuah wawancara dengan IGN baru2 ini.
