Crysis Minimum & Recommended Spec Officialy Announced - 10-10-07, 10:50
Spekulasi min spek untuk Crysis berakhir sudah. EA dan Crytek telah mengumunkan kebutuhan system PC untuk game fps mereka yang sangat dinantikan oleh para PC Gamer. Game ini akan direncanakan rilis pada 16 November 2007 dan single player Demo bisa didownload pada 26 Oktober 2007. Berikut kebutuhan PC untuk Crysis,

Minimum System Requirements
OS – Windows XP or Windows Vista
Processor – 2.8 GHz or faster (XP) or 3.2 GHz or faster* (Vista)
Memory – 1.0 GB RAM (XP) or 1.5 GB RAM (Vista)
Video Card –256 MB**
Hard Drive – 12GB
Sound Card – DirectX 9.0c compatible

* Supported Processors: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz (3.2 GHz for Vista) or faster, Intel Core 2.0 GHz (2.2 GHz for Vista) or faster, AMD Athlon 2800+ (3200+ for Vista) or faster.

GameSpot: What's more important to have for Crysis: A powerful CPU or a powerful video card?

CrYtek (Cevat Yerli): Actually they should be in sync. Low CPU and high GPU makes little sense, since the game might then become CPU-bound; likewise, if you have a strong CPU and low GPU, your game may not render fast enough. So you should align the generations of hardware when building your PC, in general. If you have a CPU and GPU both from the last 12 months, though, and you want to upgrade one of the components, then it should be the GPU.

^ rata-rata untuk memainkan game 3D memang butuh GPU yang baik bro
rather than CPU, klo nanti khawatir bottleneck di CPU hanya karena "kompor2an" score 3DMark, keadaan akan berubah saat main game secara real time
model synthetic bench seperti 3DMark yang tak lain adalah timedemo, berbeda dengan real time gaming ...

CPU banyak membantu iterasi, AI, control dan juga sound
selebihnya GPU menangani semua pekerjaan gambar

itulah di gosip kali ini, layak Crytek cukup menyarankan C2D @2.2Ghz saja
namun GPU: 8800GTS 640 (untuk recommended spec)
cara gampangnya, CPU score gak begitu penting untuk main game sekelas Crysis dibandingkan dengan GPU score
