Crysis Minimum & Recommended Spec Officialy Announced

Spekulasi min spek untuk Crysis berakhir sudah. EA dan Crytek telah mengumunkan kebutuhan system PC untuk game fps mereka yang sangat dinantikan oleh para PC Gamer. Game ini akan direncanakan rilis pada 16 November 2007 dan single player Demo bisa didownload pada 26 Oktober 2007. Berikut kebutuhan PC untuk Crysis,

Minimum System Requirements
OS – Windows XP or Windows Vista
Processor – 2.8 GHz or faster (XP) or 3.2 GHz or faster* (Vista)
Memory – 1.0 GB RAM (XP) or 1.5 GB RAM (Vista)
Video Card –256 MB**
Hard Drive – 12GB
Sound Card – DirectX 9.0c compatible

* Supported Processors: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz (3.2 GHz for Vista) or faster, Intel Core 2.0 GHz (2.2 GHz for Vista) or faster, AMD Athlon 2800+ (3200+ for Vista) or faster.

While we are on the topic of technology - there is no secret that Windows Vista has had an uneven start. Do you feel that Crysis is a so called killer app for DirectX 10 and Vista? Is this the game that will make gaming on Vista socially accepted?
Haha. One thing is clear: DirectX 10 is the future. The gaming experience under DX10 will be be different. Crysis will also be different. How much? We feel that the Vista experience and Crysis give full effect, you can't get it any better without. Under DirectX 9 you can get something similar. Some people look at it in a different way and say that they don't need it, but I must say that I want it. If you want the full experience, there is no way around Vista. Will we change the problems that Vista is having? I don't know. Vista has other problems that we can't do anything about, we have had problems and other games currently under development have had problems with Vista. When we release Crysis, I think that many of those problems will be fixed by Microsoft. They understand that time is running short. I also think that we definetly will get many gamers over to Vista, because as I said, full Crysis experience is on Vista, with DirectX10, and this also demands a pretty good computer. So you might have to get a new computer.(KOMPOR MODE=ON)


Have you been working with DX10 from the beginning?

Well, we got DX10 hardware very early. We worked with NVIDIA, ATI also pushed hard in this direction. But the first card we got from NVIDIA was actually slower than the 7800 cards! And we had to emulate DX10, it was pretty tough to work with. But the fun thing was that we had the DX10 version visible on the screen without the compatible hardware, only by running an emulator - this ran at 3 to 5 pictures a second! I mean, if DX11 had come out next year, we would adapt to that. We have to. It is Crytek's philosophy: Whatever the technological boundary is, we go for it. Our technology is fully scalable, any game that uses CryEngine 2 now, has DX10 integrated.

Yes, how many hours of gameplay would you say that Crysis has to offer?

For a good player, ten to twelve hours. But - you can play it again two to three times. And the experience will be different. Similar, of course, but still different. kalo masih pake CRT kan aku bisa maen di 1024x768, di lcd musti 1440x900 biar gambar gak blurr, bleh! PC gw manakuat!
