Anime Death note yg di-rills tahun lalu, yg diangkat berdasarkan manga-nya yg terkenal melebihi popularitas di jepang itu sendiri, mempunyai efek yg cukup unik di berbagai belahan dunia, di antaranya ada 3 kasus yg terkait dengan modus operandi death note, hanya saja berbeda dengan efek yg dihasilkan. untuk sementara ini wa cuma nemuin 3 kasus yg "nyontek" death note, di antarannya datang dari Belgia, US dan China:
