HD3850 + TT Duorb = So coooooool - 14-03-08, 08:04


Yos, telah kita ketahui bersama bahwa vga card kelas mid end - high end menghasilkan panas yang besar tidak terkecuali pada vga card terbaru ati yaitu HD3850, bila dilihat dari fabrikasi si vga card tersebut yaitu 55nm seharusnya vga HD3850 itu menghasilkan panas yang sedikit tetapi dengan ditanamkan 666 juta transistor di GPU maka panas yang dihasilkan masih saja tetap besar.

Desain HSF reference yang tidak kompeten



desain seperti itu berarti menggabungkan panas dari GPU, Ram, Mosfet menjadi satu kesatuan. mungkin yang seharusnya Ram pada vga ini tidak terlalu panas malah akan bertambah panas dengan desain seperti itu karena Ram mendapatkan pasokan kalor dari mosfet dan GPU. apalagi ditambah dengan adanya kover plastik penutup HSF, hmmm waktu pertama kali memasang HD3850 saya mencium bau plastik terbakar, bayangkan plastik itu di hajar dengan panas 85 derajat pada saat full load.

Persiapan



Siapkan obeng minus kecil atau plus kecil untuk membuka HSF reference dari ati, lebih baik juga siapkan sebuah thermal paste berkualitas seperti MX-2 atau MX-1.



sayang di paket yang saya terima heatsink untuk mosfet kurang 1 buah, mana becco nih?



jangan mencari konektor fan buat ditancapkan di vga, si duorb ini menggunakan konektor molex yang diambil lagnsung dari PSU kamu.

Hasil akhir



Lampunya hanya biru only, harusnya bisa blinkers seperti crucialnya becco

Oke saatnya kita tes kemapuan HSF model "bra" ini, apakah bisa mengalahkan kemamapuan hsf reference

yup hanya berada pada kisaran 35-36 derajat celcius, sedangkan si reference berada pada kisaran 45 derajat dengan fan 50%.

Full load

Di tes dengan cara memainkan game the witcher selama kurang lebih 45 menit, maunya sih lebih dari itu cuman udah keburu pusing sama questnya yang banyak



Nilai yang gw ambil itu nilai suhu tertinggi yaitu dikisaran 50-51 derajat celcius, bandingkan dengan suhu full load dari HSF reference yang berada pada posisi 70-71 derajat celcius ini pun memang dengan sengaja gw buat supaya panas tertinggi ada di 70 derajat celcius dengan bantuan riva tuner fan load and idle setup.

Kesimpulan

Yup duorb mampu menahan gempuran panas dari chip GPU HD3850 dan mampu menggantikan kerja HSF reference dengan sangat baik. ditambah dengan ada nya light dari kipas duorb pada saat bekerja tentu akan menambah kesan elegan pada "daleman" case kalian.
