Canon Ixus 75 adalah versi pengganti dari Canon Ixus 65 yang sempat dianggap sebagai kamera poket paling buruk milik Canon. Apakah Canon Ixus 75 akan sama buruknya seperti Canon Ixus 65 ?

Canon Ixus 75 adalah kamera ultra-compact yang akan dengan mudah dapat masuk ke kantongmu. Canon Ixus 75 bersaing langsung dengan para kompetitornya yang ada pada pasar 7MP, bahkan, bersaing dengan saudara kembarnya sendiri, Canon Ixus 70. Ixus dikenal sebagai brand premium, jadi biayanya memang agak mahal dibandingkan dengan Pentax Optio M30, Nikon S500, Olympus FE-230 atau Sony DSC-W80, rata rata dibanderol 1.7juta, sementara Canon Ixus 75 lebih dari 2 juta. Jadi apa yang kamu harapkan dari kamera semacam ini ?




Canon Ixus 75 didesain dengan bagus, dengan konsep duo-tone, menimbulkan kesan retro modern minimalis. Memang cocok untuk pasar masa kini. Beberapa bagian dari body nya terasa agak ringkih, khas Ixus, tapi secara keseluruhan, Canon Ixus 75 ini memang cukup menarik untuk di gunakan.


Canon Ixus 75 datang tanpa optical viewfinder, memang penggunaan viewfinder pada kamera poket terkesan konyol dan mbanyol. Tapi ini bisa berfungsi sekali jika memang berencana untuk mengambil foto dengan momen khusus, atau sekedar menghemat baterai.


Keunggulannya terletak pada kemampuannya untuk merekam gambar para resolusi 640x480@30fps. Cukup jarang kamera poket yang bisa melakukan hal ini. Contrast, color balance dan white balance nya juga terlihat bagus. Dapat di optimasi dengan sedikit range value. Canon Ixus 75 juga dengan cepat sekali dapat di nyalakan. Begitu tekan tombol power, kamu sudah siap untuk shoot. Secepat itu. Didukung dengan AiAF multi focus, memang dapat mempercepat shot karena Canon Ixus 75 dengan cermat dapat menentukan bagian mana yang fokus dan mana yang tidak. Plus, adanya AF assist light, membantu pengambilan gambar dalam gelap. Setelah dicoba, bahkan di dalam gelap pun masih terlihat cukup maksimum hasil yang diperoleh.

Mengambil foto dengan Canon Ixus 75 sangat menyenangkan. Shutter lag hanya sekitar 0.3 detik, focus lag hanya sekitar 0.1 detik dan flash cukup terang. Pada penggunaan auto, Canon Ixus 75 cukup jenius menentukan jenis mode apa yang bagus diambil dengan komposisi itu. Hampir tidak ada kesalahan sama sekali selama pengambilan gambar. So smooth and so fine. Benar benar kamera yang ditujukan bagi pemula.

Jika ingin mereview foto foto yang telah di shot, tinggal masuk ke mode replay dan lihat hasil photo photo. Yang keren dari kamera ini, kamera ini dilengkapi dengan sensor ( lupa gw namanya ) yang dapat me-re-aligned setiap foto yang dilihat sesuai dengan posisi kamera. Landscape atau portrait. Fitur ini juga dimiliki oleh iphone dan beberapa smartphone terakhir. Lebih jelasnya, silahkan lihat video dibawah.


Canon Ixus 75 juga memiliki sensor tekan yang mirip dengan ipod. Tidak perlu menekan pin-wheel sama sekali jika sekedar ingin mengakses fungsi fungsi nya. Feel nya benar benar sama pada saat menggunakan ipod. Tekan hanya jika perlu di tekan. Selebihnya, putar putar pin-wheel


The Downfall
Dengan cepat, kelemahan Canon Ixus 75 kembali di temukan. Sama seperti pendahulunya, varian Ixus selalu menampilkan kualitas gambar "pas-pas-an". Sebagai kamera yang di design untuk premium, hal ini jelas tidak bisa diterima akal. Kualitas gambar yang baik hanya bisa dirasakan saat menggunakan iso dibawah 400 ( ISO 100, ISO 200, dalam bahasa indonesia, ASA ) selebih nya, lumayan hancur performanya.

Verdict

Adanya mode khusus underwater dan aquarium, memungkinkan penggunaan Canon Ixus 75 ini di dalam air. Bagi anda yang tipe seniman, mungkin kamera ini cocok untuk digunakan. Karena gambar benar benar bagus hanya jika pada ASA rendah, maka kesabaran dan steadyness dalam pengambilan gambar sangat diperlukan. Jika menginginkan kamera point-and-shoot yang baik, Canon Ixus 75 tidak cocok digunakan apalagi dalam gelap, karena yang terjadi, kualitas gambarnya turun drastis. Canon Ixus 75 juga paling baik digunakan pada saat siang hari atau dengan pencahayaan yang cukup. Jelas di kalahkan dengan telak oleh kamera kamera milik Sony dan Pentax.
