Pas kebetulan lagi di jakarta, bertandang ke ASUS Indonesia Office di daerah seputaran Kelapa Gading, alhasil membawa pulang motherboard cantik ini untuk di review singkat..

nampak penggunaan mouse usb is a must di board ini.. hey, dan ada tombol Clear CMOS di sana, satu kelebihan yg tidak dimiliki motherboard kompetitor nampaknya..



Fusion block juga menambah gagahnya tampilan heatpipe sang Maximus Formula



you are an enthusiast overclocker? gak perlu obeng lg deh buat nyalain mobo ini, semua sudah tersedia, bahkan dengan warna Led hijau pada tombol power juga mempermudah sesi overclocking kita.. reset ya tinggal one soft touch di sebelah kanan.. easy right?



meskipun tombol clear cmos sudah tersedia di bagian samping mobo ini, ternyata ASUS juga menambahkan tombol clear cmos pada bagian bawah board, dekat dengan tombol power dan reset.. wow, sangat mempermudah jika kita ingin mereset setting bios..



the best air cooling in town sangat mudah di pasang di mobo ini, tidak ada kendala yg berarti, tinggal PLUG and PLAY, not PLUG and PRAY seperti bbrp yg saya lihat di motherboard lain..

sorry baru bisa di sambung berhubung vga ane matot lagi i dunno why..

Proc : Intel Quad Core Q6600

Mobo : ASUS Maximus Formula SE spec thx to ASUS Indonesia
RAM : Team Xtreem 2gb kit PC8500 distributed by Fox Hound
GPU : Winfast 8800GT 512mb courtesy by SS Comp Semarang
PSU : FSP Blustrom II 500w distributed by Gamer's Garage

gak sempet lama2 bermain dgn vga ini, dan kemarin ya udah dipulangin :'( duh sedih deh ada yg mau minjemin vga?

3DMark 2006 cpu on air cooling, gpu stock fan




well gak sempat coba2 banyak, vga udah harus dipulangin, as far kira2 begini :

yg jelas kemarin fsb 450 x 9 (note on QUAD proc, all air) is very easy, memory 1200 pun mudah dicapai dengan vdimm yg slightly lower than P35..

betul terasa performa chipset ini melebihi chipset terdahulu, dengan kemampuan overclockability yg slightly better..

vdrop nampaknya bukan "teman" dari motherboard ini, karena setting vcore dari bios saya hanya set di 1.42v saja O0

sementara mgkn gini dulu dari saya, sambil cari pinjeman vga.. *moga2 rma cepet nih datengnya*
