N-GAGE Platform Games - 13-11-07, 06:02
Kabarnya 2008 N-GAGE platform games akan dirilis.

Game akan jalan di semua N Series yang firmwarenya udah di update ke N-GAGE platform.

N-GAGE platform games yang digembar-gemborkan nokia ternyata bisa dibilang jelek.

Untuk n series seri jelek gamenya akan tampak bagus bagi pemakainya.
Tapi bagi pemakai n series yang ada graphic chip nya, misal n95, sonyericsson m600i (ini ga termasuk n-gage platform, tapi ada GPU juga) akan merasakan bahwa gambar game n-gage platform kualitasnya terlalu 'biasa'.

Bisa dilihat di asphalt 3 versi n-gage platform.

Mungkin nokia melakukan ini agar semua n-gage platform enabled phones bisa merasakan game dengan kualitas yang sama.
Seharusnya nokia bisa mencontoh iDreams yang selalu menyertakan benchmark dan option gambar dalam gamenya. Jadi si game bisa menyesuaikan dengan platform dia berjalan.
Tapi mungkin nokia takut membuat usernya bingung liat option grafis (lha, katanya n95 is a computer, harus njelimet donk )

Mungkin ke depannya ada gadget tambahan kali ya untuk n-series..ungkin semacem gamepad.. Soalnya asli bakaln ribet klo main game n-gage dgn keypad rapet & kecil2 ala N-series..

Kabar baru.
Dari AAS.

Kemungkinan tidak cuman n series yang masuk ngage platform.

Hape yang secara hardware udah cepat. Seperti nokia 6210 classic (6210 atau 6120 lupa gw angkanya). Processor 360MHz.

Sementara spekulasi system requirement hp nokia utk masuk ngage platform processor diatas 300MHz.

Sangat disayangkan, graphic chip powervr mbx di n95 berarti gak akan kepake. Alias mubazir.

Untuk ngage asli, nokia gak akan support lagi selamanya.
Itu udah barang 'terbuang'.

Kayaknya ini untuk menembus kesalahan nokia dulu yang menutup ngage game hanya untuk ngage. Jadi pangsa pasar developer kan kecil.
Padahal hp lain (3650,6600,dll) juga bisa maen ngage, tapi kudu di kasi 'jamu'.

Sekarang nokia bikin bendera ngage platform untuk semua hape nokia yang memungkinkan untuk nge-game (hardware-wise).
Jadi pangsa pasar developer luas, keuntungan meningkat, semakin banyak developer tertarik bikin ngage platform games.


Kalo menurut gw, disini salahnya nokia. Moto n95 kan its what computer can be or something like that kan?
Kudunya tiap game ada option grafis. Jadi ngageplatform semakin luas.
Hape lambat dgn processor 100mhz pun (ngage asli) bisa masuk ke ngage platform.

Cuman dengan kualitas gambar yang minimal.

Kalo dimainin di n95, baru bisa option ke very high karena ada graphic chip kan.
Jadi hape jelek bisa main ngage platform games, hape canggih bisa merasakan keindahan ngage platform games.


Contoh game yang menyedikan option grafis dan mampu menyesuaikan kualitas gambar tergantung di play di hp apa adalah :
Skyforce series, k-rally, miner.
Semua game dary infinitydreams.

Oh yah, untuk hape E series yang layarnya gede banget kan, apakah masuk ngage platform atau gak, belum jelas samasekali.


Btw gw bingung, ini info gw dapat dari AAS atau AAN yah. .
