Kompatibilitas Hardware Windows Vista - 11-03-07, 11:52

terutama masalah kompatibilitas hardware di Windows Vista

(1) PC-ku
* intel c2d, mobo 965 ds-3, ram, sound onboard, semua gak ada masalah
* soundcard add on ESI Juli@, bermasalah di driver, Vista tidak mengenali, tapi akhirnya ketemu drivernya walopun masih beta, OK, mulus, audiophile must go on
* X1950ro, bermasalah, tidak dikenali oleh Vista, tidak bisa Windows Aero. Tapi langsung install aja dengan Catalyst Vista, masalah selesai, dari performance rate 1.1 untuk GPU (tanpa driver), menjadi 5.9. Windows Aero ready (so sweet)
* handphone (k750i ... ini kumasukin ke hardware) ... BELUM ada driver, gak bisa transfer poto-poto

(2) PC yayang
* AMD A64, Nforce, ram, semua gak ada masalah
* soundcard onboard Realtek AC'97, gak dikenali oleh Vista. Download driver soundard AC'97 dari MSI (mobo make' MSI) .. tetep aja bisu. Solusi, asal instal driver dari CD Mobo (driver Windows XP) .. solved dan nyala. Perfect, gak ada stutter sound, mulus buat mp3 dan nyetel film. Control panel tentu saja cp driver tampilan Win XP.
* Radeon 9550, gak ada masalah. Dikenali dengan baik oleh Vista, WDM driver dari dia dengan Aero performance rate 3.6. Tapi begitu dicoba install (update) driver Catalyst Vista, malah BSOD / gak mau booting. Roll back ke driver lama. 3DMark03 3400.
* Printer HP Deskjet 3744. Hebat gak siap driver Vista, tapi langsung colok USB, hehe, printer langsung added. Lancar.
* HP Nokia seri 7, gak ada driver

Yang lain mungkin bisa menambahkan sesuai experience masing-masing.

Driver2 juga kdang gak kedetect...

banyak Hardware bermasalah di vista, tapi dukungan hardware vista juga bagus lho sebenernya

utk printer, tinggal TANCEP, driver generic langsung jalan. printer jalan dgn baek tuh
