Question Minta bantuan soal NTFS vs FAT32 dong? - 26-08-08, 18:43
Sebelumnya mohon maaf kalo udah ada yg posting hal ini. Sy mau minta tolong sama kk2 yg ada disini.

Hardisk sy 80 gb dipartisi jd 4 partisi format FAT32

Rencananya salah satu partisi (E: ,kosong) akan sy rubah jd NTFS. Utk menyimpan file2 (.rar,.iso,dll) yg berkapasitas diatas 4 gb.

Pertanyaannya:
Apakah hal ini berpengaruh pd performa kompie scr keseluruhan (biang bad sector, biang ngehang, dan biang ngelag)?

mendingan kalo punya hd 80gb di bikin format NTFS aja semua. coz game2 tertentu minta format hd nya NTFS, kayak GOW.

untuk lebih jelasnya perbedaan fat n NTFS ada di tred di sini, cuma entah kemana, search aja.

sebetulnya gw juga seh, ni pc gw ada fat ada ntfsnya, cuma yang fattuh hdd lama gw. cuma tulisan di my computernya jadi beda, yang fat hitam, yang ntfs biru.

lagipula nyimpan file bnyk dimana minimal size nya 4gb tuh.......... bakal borosin hdd 20Gb lho...
lbh baik dijadikan 40 Gb aja , partisinya...

Terima kasih byk, buat tanggepan kk2 semua.

Dan akhirnya sy ngikut saran bang gimgim, cuman 1 partisi yg diconvert. Soalnya iso dvd yg mo disimpen cuman 2 keping doang.
^_^

Kalo mengganti semua dgn NTFS, nggak berani deh. Soalnya dulu wkt kuliah sempet ngikut di servisan kompie py temen. Sy nemuin sebagian besar hd baru (20 gb< ) yg kena badsector berformat NTFS? Gak tau juga sih, itu cuman kebetulan ato ada penjelasannya??

hmm, kayaknya sih ga ada pengaruhnya ntfs ama bad sector cuman kadang2 klo hddnya error & errornya pas di tabel partisinya itu yang kadang2 benerinnya agak repot..... filenya bisa direcover semua, cuman partisinya ga kedetek sama sekali klo yang ini gw ude agak sering

nah ntu bang tiger. Jd partisi yg NTFS gak keliatan di fdisk, kalopun keliatan tuh partisi gak bisa dihapus. Sebetulnya bisakah hal itu diperbaiki??
Kalo dulu nemuin hal kayak gini, solusinya ya... disuruh ganti hd :P~

fdisk? msh ada os < XP yah.
bwt ntfs mending pake diskmanager bawaan windows xp aja. udah cukup koq.
explorer>(klik kanan my computer)>manage. sampai sana, masuk aja ke bagian yg untuk manajemen disk drive. otak - atik deh
