Question batas sisa Gb kosong dlm HDD? - 04-05-07, 23:04
bgini, jk suatu drive HDD berukuran 20gb, brapa GB kah yg musti dikosongkan???
biar gak muncul pesan eror, misalnya "Ran out of virtual memory"....dsb....

1. 10% dr total kapasitasnya???20%???30%???ato brapa???
2. apalg jk drive tsb dipake sbg OS/system... brapakah yg layak dikosongkan???
3. bagaimana dgn file2 lain slain OS??? misalnya diisi file mltimedia....gem2 pc???
4. ane pernah coba, pd drive 20gb, sisa GB yg kosong adlh di bwh 4gb... bgitu dimainkan

tuk sbuah gem pc, gem tsb suka eror... stlh cek ricek, ane bersihkan drive hingg yg

kosong adlh 4,5gb... tuk jaga2 biar gak eror lg, ane jadikan 5gb kosong... n masalah tsb selesai!
apa hal ini bs berlaku tuk drive lain?? misalnya 40gb?? 80gb?? dst...

patokannya apa ya??

kebetulan bro, kemarin sempet ngobrol2 ama temen yang jualan HDD,kata dia sih
kalo u punya 20GB sebaiknya sisain 2GB-an....10%mungkin yah?
terus kalo "ran out of virtual memory" kalo ngga salah bukan dari space HDD deh, tapi RAMnya ngga kuat -CMIIW- yah

bener tuch si arya .... tapi sedikit tambahan ajah kalo sering dapet pesen "ran out of virtual memory" .... coba set manual minimum size virtual memory windows setidaknya 1.5x kali jumlah memory anda (dengan asumsi space HDD di drive OS anda lebih dari total virtual memory tadi).... misalnya u pake memory 1 GB.... sisain ajah 3 GB space di HDD, trus set minimum size virtual memory ke 1.5 GB dan maximumnya 3 GB... config ini yang biasa aku pake .... 'n sampe sekarang gak pernah ada pesen ran out virtual memory tuch .... secara teoritis, ketika sebuah aplikasi kekurangan kebutuhan memory, maka sisa kebutuhan memory terebut akan dijalankan di "virtual memory" windows ... nah ... walopun u pake memory 1 GB tapi kalo aplikasinya butuh lebih dan setting virtual memorynya = no paging file ....bakalan keluar tuch pesen "ran out of virtual memory"

aq dengan 250 gigs set 45 partisi
c: 5 gigs
d: 20 gigs
e: 20 gigs
f: 200 gigs
gpagefile) 5 gigs (4096)..
trus pagefile aq set 1.5x Ram dengan maksimum 2x
dijamin aman maen gem n ga bakalan ada error ran virtual memory....

Sebaiknya pisahin antara partisi System dan Games
Gw biasanya di Ctempat OS dan program) cuman sisa 3 GB dari partisi 24 GB
dan ngga pernah tuh muncul pesen Ran Out of Virtual Memory...

Gw dulu juga sering gitu pake 20 Gb ram cuman 256 mb.....klo dibuat pake gaming apalagi berat pasti abis kluar dari games nongol tulisan seperti itu...

ni sistem partisiku:

klo kata windows siy, waktu kita mo defrag seenggaknya ada 15% dari satu partisi, sgitu mungkin yak minimalnya.
tapi kayanya tergantung dari:
1. System Restore
2. Recycle Bin
3. Virtual Memory

daripada ngga ada sama sekali, pamer kota aja dah

iya itu buwat fragmented file (simpan sementara) sebelum di compact,...makanya yang di kasi OS mending set dikit aja partisi.. n page file disendiriin..partisi sendiri sekalian untuk set virtual memory
