Baru-baru ini, Koei mengumumkan mengenai salah satu game yang menjadi andalan mereka, yaitu Dynasty Warriors. Mereka baru saja mengumumkan, bahwa mereka akan merilis Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce di PSP. Game bergenre Hack and Slash ini direncanakan juga akan dirilis di "next-gen console.[cut]

[/cut]Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce versi next-gen console ini akan dilengkapi dengan berbagai penyempurnaan serta beberapa penambahan fitur. Salah satunya adalah fitur multiplayer yang diperkenalkan pertama kali dalam Dynasty Warriors series yang juga memungkinkan gamer untuk melakukan "online officer trading". Selain itu, dalam Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce versi console ini gamer juga dapat memainkan "Meng Huo".


Mode multiplayer dalam game ini akan menawarkan variasi misi, antara lain menghancurkan markas musuh, bertarung dengan ribuan pasukan maupun menghabisi "Dragon" atau makhluk-makhluk yang lain. Sedangkan dalam mode singleplayer, gamer dapat memilih 3 orang karakter, seperti dalam Musou Orochi series, namun bedanya, dalam Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce ini 2 karakter lainnya dapat dikontrol oleh AI.
Dengan mengambil setting waktu sejarah China kuno, Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce ini akan menawarkan lebih dari 40 orang karakter yang dapat dimainkan, dengan berbagai macam ability super yang berbeda-beda setiap karakternya.


Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce ini direncanakan akan dirilis bagi Xbox 360 dan PS3 pada tanggal 16 Febuari 2010 mendatang, dengan bonus yang berbeda-beda. Versi PS3 akan mendapatkan karakter dari Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 yang dapat dimainkan dalam game ini, sementara karakter-karakter dari Warriors Orochi 2 akan muncul sebagai "playable character" dalam versi Xbox 360.
