Apparantly the above information has been taken down since this screenshot was taken. Reading from this Neogaf page speculation to why this information was taken down (Nvidia or maybe MS pressure?).
We all knew that the PS3 was a raytracing/raycasting monster. This was proven very early on in the Cells life with Barry Minor who showed that the PS3 outperformed a 7800 GTX @ 5 x 6 times performance usuing ONLY THE CELL.. Which means that Combined mite of Cell + RSX would mean that the PS3 is still well ahead of the PC curve 8800 GTS at this type of graphical function.
This shows that using these types of techniques which give 4d testures (i.e. adding in time element in addition to normal 3d testures) the PS3 can outperform a PC with a 8800 GTS.
In fact with such a high disparity between the PC and the PS3 it would mean that the PS3 would outperform a PC with 8800 GTS SLI PC and still have power left over to do other tasks (by a margin of at least 2). (This chonsiders that SLI gives a performance boost of about 70percent to the exisiting GPU).
Because of the small memroy footprints using this method 318kb vs 156 meg bitmap. There should be no memory constraints for extreemly high resolution graphics. The main hog IMO would be bandwidth (not withstanding the high PS3 internal bandwidth) from Cell to RSX and RSX to HDMI.
Also remember that the arguments for "using that much gpu processing on the cell means not enough room for AI, physics etc." has been pretty much been debunked as Killzone 2 devs have shown that if the program is not hogging the whole of the SPE for drawing a particular frame then between those frames the SPE's can be used for other things.
Obviously this is very cimplicated programming which is why your going to see a leap in graphics quality on every proceding generation of software ( a la resistance 2 for example).
Even if the PS3 cannot leverage the total x10 x 5 vs Xbox 360 and PC respectivly in graphical texture processing speed. It does show evidance that what numerous devs have said naughty dog, Epic, insomniac etc. have been saying that there is a huge potential still laying untapped in the PS3.
