Question ngasih variable Javascript ke PHP? - 30-03-08, 21:06
Gimane ye? Mereka kan 2 mahkluk yang berbeda. Javascript kan Client Side, sedangkan PHP itu Server Side. Yang gwe butuhkan "On Page Passing", alias tanpa perlu reloading page dan pindah page. Kasih contoh simpel aja deh, misalnya gwe ada variabel PHP yang namanya $var dan variabel JavaScript yang namanya Jvar yang isinya "1". Nah, bagaimana cara mengirimkannya ke PHP? Ada yang tau?

Kalau nggak ada yang tau, berarti gwe harus merombak ulang kodenya ...

Hmm? Kalau jadi satu bukannya embedded salah satunya? Ya terserah situ kan mau diproses dimana...server apa client . Bisa aja kok file PHP tapi isinya 90% JavaScript . Malah HTML + PHP + Javascript jadi satu dinamain *.PHP juga nggak masalah .

yup bener kata gifos, basicnya php/asp/jsp/dst. itu di run di server side, dengan kata laen, client/browser tidak dapat dengan cara "normal" mengakses langsung isi dari file2 tersebut. sedangkan javascript(.js/embedded in html - yes, embedded di html bukan yg laen, kalopun dibilang js bisa ditulis didalem scripting php/asp sebenernya dia di run secara traversed/sequential sebagai html/client side scripts), secara teknis, javascript di run tidak bersamaan dengan tag/script server side tapi setelah script tsb di load di client, tapi, secara logic, js(ajax/simple js) bisa di embed berbarengan dengan server side scripts... mudah2an bisa membantu...

server side : segala sesuatu, coding, scripts, bitcodes yang di proses, disimpan, ato dibaca oleh server dan (seharusnya) hanya bisa diakses oleh server dan bukan kita2 sebagai pihak ketiga, sperti : php scripts, jsp scripts, asp/aspx, databases, server-files, server applet/servlets/dsj.

client side : segala sesuatu, bisa berupa stream, codes, client-side scripts, yang dapat kita lihat isinya (selama bukan berbentuk binaries), bisa kita kopi, bisa kita manipulasi seperti html, javascripts, cookies, dll.
