dual channel harus 2 buah stick ram dipasang di slot DIMM ram pada mobo yang dimm tersebut support akan dual channel (terkonfigurasi dan baca manual mobo anda)
biasanya slot tersebut diberi pewarnaan yang berbeda, untuk mengindikasikan dan menginformasikan bahwa ram anda akan berjalan di dual channel pada slot ini dan ini

contoh:

pada mobo kaya' tersebut di atas, dual channel berlaku di warna kuning dan kuning, atau, orange dan orange
klo anda pasa di kuning dan orange, maka gak jalan si dual channel



begitu juga dengan mobo yang ini, dual channel nya ada di orange+orange atau hijau+hijau


so ... begitu dari bagian motherboard, hanya beda peletakan slot DIMM saja kok, model selang-seling, ato berjejer




lalu kita ke RAM itu sendiri
belang? bisa dual channel enggak becc
BISA, asal harus 2 stick, ato 4 stick sekalian, pokoknya stick A dan B bahu membahu
klo 3 stick = gak bisa

Bagiamana dengan kompatibility RAM belang ato enggak identik untuk dual channel
maka dia akan IKUT speed dan timing ram yang paling jelek diantara kedua ram belang tersebut untuk kompatibility
jadi misal saya punya PC6400 dan PC5300, klo saya bikin dual channel akan jalan keduanya di PC5300 saat default CMOS load
lalu jika mo ditarik, ya itu sesuai kebutuhan anda
