Dual Core Intel mengalahkan AMD Triple Core?? - 23-04-08, 15:45
Strategi AMD meluncurkan AMD Phenom triple-core untuk segmen ekonomis, dilawan intel dengan meluncurkan prosesor Core2 Duo E7xxx yang notabene adalah prosesor dual-core kelas ekonomis berbasis Penryn 45nm.

Core2 Duo seri E7xxx tak lain adalah E8xxx yang L2 cachenya dipangkas dari 6MB menjadi 3MB agar harganya jadi lebih murah. Namun dengan berbekal SSE4 menjadikan E7xxx masih cukup bertenaga untuk melawan Phenom triple-Core.Dan sepertinya untuk melawan prossor AMD triple-core cukup dengan intel dual-core saja.

Score Benchmark Dengan menggunakan Cinebench 10 :

Core2 Duo E8200 Score : 5700

Core2 Duo E7300 Score : 5585

Phenom X3 8600 Score : 5300

Core2 Duo E7200 Score : 5256

Core2 Duo E4500Score : 4255

Emmm, ada yang buat konfigurasi harganya? Kalau nggak salah secara umum harga dasar sistem AMD Phenom masih lebih murah daripada harga dasar sistem Intel Core 2 Duo kan?
