[Ask] PSU for next gen GPU - 18-07-07, 17:45
OK, gwe ada rencana mo beli GPU baru
kandidat X2900 atau 8800GT/GTX

gwe sadar kalo upgrade ke salah satu card diatas, gwe harus upgrade juga PSU..

PSU gwe sekarang ini cuman Acbell 400 Watt, tapi masih sanggup ngangkat 7900GT;2 optic; 3 HDD plus segerombolan fan 8cm

masalahnya; selain lagu lama (budget) ada masalah lain yang lebih sulit untuk ditangani, yaitu tegangan rumah gwe yang "cuman" 2200Watt.....
(sekarang aja sering padam dirumah gara gara kelebihan daya ^^;; )

jadi ruang buat upgrade PSU itu "Sempiiiit sekali" perkiraan gwe, gwe bisa afford PSU di sekitar 450-500Watt......less than 450Watt preferred

pertanyaannya, apa PSU segitu cukup???
(btw; gwe juga masih ada rencana beli HDD lagi)
bila cukup; buat GPU yang mana dan ada saran merek,model, dan perk harga PSUnya........

pake core 2 duo yang 6600 gak bakalan ngangkat pake di bawah 500 kecuali PSU bagus kayaknya tuh...

btw, wa bukannya ngancam tapi banyak orang yang celaka gara-gara remehin peran PSU dalam komputer di forum CHIP....

kalau mau cari yang merk Silverstone, FSP ato Tagan, paling minimal Thermaltake lah...

Untuk ini gua pribadi sih cuman bisa suggest lu, untuk beli UPS yang bagusan, soalnya kalo beli UPS kan bisa lu pake cukup lumayan lama kan tuh, ga perlu gonta ganti kayak VGA card. Jadi buang duit gede dikt, no problem lah.

Untuk suggestion VGA sih, walaupun hati gua udah ada di ATI, tapi kok somehow untuk ini, gua mau tidak mau memilih 8800GTS/X karena emang tuh dua VGA card untuk sekarang emang yang lagi powerful. (Di omelin om becco dah neh,hahahaha)

Tapi well kalo emang lu kepentok sama budget, dillema lu seharusnya sih either X2900 ato 8800 GTS, but then again emang 8800GTS lebih mahal dikit daripada X2900

yup ambil yang 500watt, kalo yang saga 400watt mungkin cukup kuat untuk 88GTS tapi gw jamin ngos-ngosan tuh PSU
