harus gak saat ini pake pentium D 820 di OC ke 3,2GHZ.
ada ayng bisa memberi bukti kalo prosesor cepat tuh penting banget buat main game???

klo nambah floating point buat iterasi sih iya
tapi klo gaming, buat dia agar nyaman yg paling utama adalah RAM (kapasitas), kedua adalah kartu grafis, ke 3 baru Porcessor, usahakan agar gak bottleneck, lalu ke HD dengan chace dan transfer yg baik

ada banyak sugesti dengan CPU clock tinggi maka performa akan naik
synthetic bench iya bener naik
tp real game .. dikit aja kok, klo saya bicara dari 30fps naik ke 38 fps itu sama aja berkicau gak ada efek (ha udah lancar)
tapi klo dari 20 fps ke 24 fps mungkin agak "beda" dikit

namun perlu diperhatikan: aman dan stabil (suhu, power etc)

dan jangan asal tinggi, ntar "njepat" ke dekstop bagaimana

nah .. klo L2 2MB vs 4MB ... itu mungkin bisa beda liga

E2160 @3 Ghz more fast than x2 3800 @ 2.7 Ghz
